Alternate Ending to Wonderbolts Academy:
 
Spitfire: Look, this is the only way to stop you two from arguing. I’m gonna leave you two like this on display being glass in the main office for the next few weeks or so, probably about a month. I’ve injected you both so you’ll be nutritionally healthy and won’t need to go to the bathroom. If you two aren’t good friends by the time I release you, then I’ll extend your sentence for another month, got it?
 
(Rainbow and Lightning nod their heads)
 
Spitfire: Okay, good, see you in a month.
 
(Spitfire closes the glass door and locks it, leaving Rainbow and Lightning Dust inside on display for the next month)
 
 
(1 MONTH LATER)
 
 
Spitfire: Okay, it’s been a month. Are you two friends yet?
 
(Rainbow and Lightning both nod their heads. Spitfire releases their muzzle gags and let’s them talk)
 
Rainbow: Thank Celestia this is over, I think if I stayed in here any longer, I would have gone insane.
 
Lightning: Yeah, and what’s worse is that I had to spend this whole time with you
 
(Spitfire raises an eyebrow, prompting Rainbow to glare and Lightning and Lightning to laugh nervously)
 
Spitfire: So you 2 were LYING? That’s it, the sentence has been extended for another 3 months, I hope you’re both happy. I’ll go get the needle and inject you for 3 months worth.
 
(Spitfire locks the muzzle gags back onto Rainbow and Lightning, Rainbow then angrily stares at Lightning as Lightning sweats nervously)

Good call! Best to keep the difficult recruits out of trouble by any means necessary.
 
Now they can be kept on display at Wonderbolts HQ until they learn their lesson, serving as an example for the other flyers.
 
Wonder how long they’ll keep them like that. Hours? Days? Weeks? Months? Perhaps longer? Perhaps permanently?  
Personally, I think they deserve a nice long stay in those bonds. Those two need some serious discipline.
