Fair enough. I’ve been in that situation before. I suggest to just filter out fluttercord and try not to bring it up when a picture has nothing to do about it.
He’s not their enemy anymore, but he’s still rather unpredictable. But he’s more of a chaotic neutral and trickster mentor type of character now as opposed to being a chaotic evil character. Fluttershy’s compassion and friendship changed him to be a better person.
A) I don’t really hate the character. Just the ship.
B) That explains it. They still shouldn’t get mad at him on his presence after Season 4.

But still, I care more about Fluttershy’s friendship than one of the worst ships that with Discord’s presence, The Mane 5 and Starlight’s anger is trying to ruin her friendship with them.
Or how if a friend tricks you into something you have do, not knowing that it’s been faked, until you realize it.
I know there’s gonna be people with complaints like “iT hAs nUffIn 2 dO wItH dU ePiSuD”. But seriously, think of Fluttershy’s friendship with the Mane 6, who still don’t get happy with Discord.
Or hell, Imagine if you’re in a relationship with someone your friends despise. What would you do?
