So, a little backstory is in order for this one. Sometime long ago I wrote a story on fimfiction titled: Adventures Across Space. It’s still ongoing and tells the story of Captain Trixie and crew exploring space in the Enterprise canon.
 
Trixies second in command was none other than, Commander Octavia. (Also love interest on the side) ^_
 
In the story the world the ponies come from is semi paranoid based on past alien encounters so everyone is trained to fight to a certain extent. Octavia here is an exemplary soldier and officer under Trixies command; HOWEVER, she suffers from extreme anxiety attacks when put in full command.
 
Here we see the confident side of her with her pulse disruptor, and ready to tear a new one to any alien that threatens her ship, crew, and Trixie without mercy.
 
On a side note this was actually a pencil sketch for almost three years and I just finished it at 2345 as of the day posted. I’m so proud of myself. ^^ I kept saying I’d finish eventually.
