What would happen if they met? Would Elkie.exe get her anger on at first, only to realize untitl5.exe isn’t really a virus at all? Would they play a game of hearts together, with the winner deleting a file at random? Oh gosh, or start doing their hair and trading tips on handling nasty AV software (untilt5.exe’s method is probably to sit in the quarantine and cry).

That’s sort of what Elkie.exe is. She’s still a troublemaker and is literally addicted to doing bad computer stuff, but she’s trying to reform and would attack other viruses purely out of territoriality and so she wouldn’t be blamed for it XD

My other computer virus pony oc is based on the Elk Cloner, the first known computer virus ever that didn’t do any deliberate damage but just showed a silly poem the 50th startup after infection XD

I guess the problem with that is that modern antivirus systems detect based on heuristics. If the malware doesn’t actually do anything malign, the message might pop even if, say, Bitdefender is doing it’s job perfectly.
