I don’t really call the whole ‘Mane 7 thing.’
Starlight is one of my favorite ponies, even over Applejack.
I just like to call it the way I feel it has and always should be.
The Mane 6.
And in that way, Applejack is the best Mane 6.
Starlight’s a great character in her own right, but I don’t consider her a Mane pony.
