Actually yes. As proved in Lesson Zero, Spike can effectively be the voice of reason if Twilight is losing herself one way or another. So there’s at least a couple of Starlight episodes where it feels like they would’ve been perfect chances to show that side of Spike fans have been missing for a while. However, selling toys wins.
