Y'know, I think those who left the show, just because of one character, owe an apology for mocking those that left the show for other similar minor reasons. (Like the anti-wing Twilight people, and such.) And yes, I've seen some fans like that.


 
Heck, some left the show, because of Flurry Heart... Yes, the baby with little bearing on the plots, whom only makes cameo appearances now.
 
Heck, arguably, the Friendship school students appear more then Starlight does now, so it looks like we have a new bunch of characters for a quarter of the fanbase to get angry over. So honestly, the Starlight drama is old news now.
