No, we are just wondering if a civilian can do it, why can't the Royal Guards who are supposed to be _*trained_* and prepared to do it: not even bothering to do it in the first place? Or for that matter, why not have the Civvies with their impressive battle record not bother to try joining up and become part of the Royal Guards with their competency?
