If OP’s advice were taken as intended, it would literally undo all morality.

Bleeding to death? It’s not the axe murderer’s fault, it’s because you can’t control your blood! Therefore, there’s no reason to make murder illegal!
 
The worst part is, OP is demanding everyone else “control themselves” (read: destroy a fundamental aspect of their humanity) because he himself is unwilling to. Despite what certain people preach, thinking about the feelings of others is not such an agonizingly difficult task that merely asking one to do it is a crime against humanity; it’s actually quite easy to do.
 
Or at least, to do better than they’re willing to. Especially since they go out of their way to torture victims and potential victims, in an effort to criminalize victimhood.
 
Which would have the convenient side effect of absolving them of the responsibility for affecting others in any way. Because if there’s a victim, it’s their fault for being a victim. Even though the alternative is usually impossible.

If you are among those asking a few uploaders to stop bringing up Derpygate simply because it was a year ago and you’re tired of hearing about it, perhaps you’re missing their point.
 
Their point being that they still aren’t satisfied with the status quo and they will continue to make their voices heard.
 
You’re free to ignore them. And by all means, feel free to disagree with them and post why. But by berating the mere presence of the content or announcing in the comments that you are blacklisting the content, you are antagonizing them.

Couldn’t agree more. These type of people tend to blame all their problems on everyone and everything but themselves. Stuff that requires only common sense are necessarily being escalated into lawsuits. Such as someone suing Mcdonalds’ for making them fat. That’s what’s wrong about today’s society.

I’m all for people combating the use of really offensive words. But when someone has to resign from their job because they used the word “niggardly” in the presence of a black man, that’s fucked up.
