While I have nothing against ‘shippers, (heck I’ve faved pics of pairings I don’t care for) they can have their fun, I kinda hope the fanon pairings don’t bleed into the show too much.  
They already tease LyraBon alot, (which they didn’t start doing until after it became popular with fans, same with DJ & Octavia) but I like how they usually leave them ambiguous so that way fans whom prefer them as platonic friends can still imagine them however they want.  
I see ‘shippers attack, and accuse the platonic LyraBon “friendshippers” of being “homophobic,” and such, which I think is unfair, and no different then fans whom say they shouldn’t be allowed to ’ship, and such.

Honestly, I’m in the camp that prefers the Mane 6 just being platonic “friends” with each other. Sense Faust didn’t want them getting boyfriends, (or girlfriends) it seems like the current show-runners aren’t going to pair them off officially any time soon, and want to respect some of her wishes for the show.

You’d be surprised, sense ’shipping is so popular in the fanbase, many fans assume any image of two characters so much as hugging, or even just standing next to each other (which is how LyraBon became popular) “must be” a “’shipping” pic.

It isn’t. Idk why @kalsertlt tagged it as such.

To be honest, I’m not sure if this counts as ‘shipping in the tags, as nothing in the source confirms that was the artist’s intent. Only hint is perhaps the slight blushing, but the artist pretty much always gives the characters rosey cheeks. So it’s hard to tell.
