I resent that all these things the fandom and tangential media clamor for always have to come at Scootaloo's expense. Need disabled representation? Shove it onto Scootaloo, it's not like she had an actual _*character arc_* brewing or anything! Need an orphan? Yeah, sure put that on Scootaloo too! Faust confirmed she has parents and the current showrunners said "hey sure that's canon"? Quick say she lives with her lesbian aunts instead! No. Make the lesbians someone else's parents for once.


 
(Maybe I'm a bit touchy about this because I'm *trying* to write a comic and I keep getting asks about Scootaloo's aunts.)
