Description

It’s been awhile since Dazzle’s last trip to the vet. The last time he was here Dr. Fauna didn’t even have her name yet. Nevertheless, she’s still the same health expert looking to curb Dazzle’s bad habits and improve his quality of life, whether he likes it or not. I just hope Diamond and Peal are content with the changes this time around.

Physically, Dazzle is a cat. Though that’s about all I can say with absolution. The flashback arc wasn’t called “Glimpse” for nothing. I intentionally left quite a bit out of Diamond and Dazzle’s history, both before and after they met. Maybe we’ll get to some more of it down the line. I really appreciate the interest. Generating those kinds of questions is what I hope to achieve with my world building.

y’know, um… I had dismissed dazzle’s doglike behavior as part of his kooky personality, but the vet’s actually got him on dog food? how did he get to be the only kitten in a dog shelter? not any siblings, or a mother? how did he survive on dog food in the first place? cats are obligate carnivores! he can draw his owner, but can’t even tell what he himself is? and he had to learn to meow, and stop wagging his tail? and why does he flip out so much when anypony calls him a cat, even though he’s trying to be one for his owner?

Yeah, I stated typing “Flashlight” and was like “oh there it is” and clicked on it. I completely forgot about the ship name. All those auto tags should be gone now.
 
BTW, did anyone here notice that Dazzle’s fur color changed at some point? I didn’t but I just looked back at the old comics and it really was different back then.

I read this comic wondering when Flash and Twilight were going to come up, then I realized the image was mistakenly labeled, “Flashlight” when it’s supposed to be labeled, “flashlight (object).”
