The funny looking image at the top is Dusty’s cutie mark. How he got it, I’m saving as a surprise, but I’ll it least tell you what it means. On the surface, it symbolizes his talent as a medical administer and his deep care for those who need it. But if you look at little closer, it might show as well his talent in soothing hurting hearts and covering wounds with love?
Just a 13-year-old Dusty learning how to lasso like his Mom. Unfortunately, it turns out he lassoes more like his a Dad. He eventually gets the hang of it, but doesn’t really care for it much. Sure is handy when trying to catch your sneaky sister, though.
As an adult with bulging biceps and bare brawny strength, Dusty was often asked how he got his muscles to look so ̶h̶o̶t̶ good. Was it exercise? Was it the right diet? Was it steroids? Nope. Just regular old farm work, apparently ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶l̶e̶ ̶l̶o̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶g̶e̶n̶e̶t̶i̶c̶s̶.̶.
Even though he’s not much on critters or even your domestic pets, Dusty does have a secret fascination for bats, which he’ll never tell his mom about as he’d probably be disowned. When he was a young teen, he actually made friends with a local bat family in their barn and even got to see their kids grow up and leave the nest. sniff they grow up so fast.

̶A̶l̶s̶o̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶d̶e̶a̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶D̶u̶s̶t̶y̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶b̶a̶t̶s̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶d̶o̶u̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶p̶u̶r̶p̶o̶s̶e̶,̶ ̶s̶i̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶a̶m̶ ̶t̶r̶y̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶r̶e̶v̶o̶l̶t̶ ̶a̶g̶a̶i̶n̶s̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶t̶r̶e̶n̶d̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶A̶p̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶f̶a̶m̶i̶l̶y̶ ̶r̶e̶l̶a̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶O̶C̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶ ̶p̶h̶o̶b̶i̶a̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶.̶
Dusty had some…interesting quirks as a foal. In that he would attempt to carry animals to his room in his mouth….alive. Yeah, they still don’t know what to make of that one. Also, Dusty was a little chubby as a kid and was fondly nicknamed ‘Butterball’ for a time.

These two are just some headshots of Dusty being Dusty. Funny enough, these moods happen quite a lot in equal amounts. Such a poor stressed out fruit cake.

That’s all I’ve got for now. I might do one other picture with Dusty before posting his sister, Cricket, and her Bio tomorrow.

As you can see, Dusty’s character study is quite different from Harmony’s. That becuase I’m trying out a new style which I hope is more informative and entertaining. So feel free to let me know if you like this style better or not! ( Also, trying out a new writing format, not sure if I like it though :/ )
