Alright so cleaning up some old files I started in 2017 and this was one of the last few comics I had from that time period I left unfinished…and then redone. : Actually I am very surprised just how different the style kind of melded into what it is right now on the comics. It’s a little different than the single pics cause there more characters instead of one to focus on but boy trying to clean up old lineart is annoying. There is a hidden muffin in this comic that’s different from the ones on the plate. Look very careful is all I will say.
So back to the wacky shenanigans of a Derpy/Spitfire comic. :D This is one of my favorites I have recently come up with that I am surprised I didn’t think of this over the past many years before. I think the new style actually really helps this comic a lot more than if I did it in the classic style. Starting to push these comics out again more frequency on this series….I get on runs with it. :P There’s a small core of people that absolutely hate me always making this series but I say screw that cause I love making these and I got more. Also I got a weird couple comments at times saying is Spitfire Derpy’s prisoner……uh no. It’s not even shipping too. It’s more of random weird friends comic that if Derpy needs Spitfire for something, you aren’t gonna hide from her. She will find you. ;)
Little fun making up Derpy’s house again but boy is it hard to try and come up with stuff to add in it to make it look good. The couch I pretty much started with and worked back as a makeshift scale thing if possible. BTW yes….that is Derpopoly….Derpy’s monopoly game.

Sadly, some people can only feel good about themselves by attacking others.
Another tag that was rremoved was ‘spitfire’s hair if fire jokes suck’. So, these tags seem like they were attempting to attack Mighty-Muffins’ art, when they should just filter it.
Yeah because it’s easier to block tag changes instead of removing the feature if people aren’t allowed to add matching tags anyway
If you look at the Tag Changes, you’ll notice that the ‘Not Funny’ tag was ultimately removed by a Staff Member.

Otherwise, yeah. People get too quick or literal on assuming things just so they can find a reason to spread hate. If Artists like what they draw, they should continue drawing it. Anyone who hates it simply just needs to filter it out.
Yeah. I know that I follow drama a lot, but even I will at some point just say, “this is getting boring.” So, they really have it out for you specifically.
I actually don’t do commissions. Actually it’s fairly widely known I dont. :) I believe I haven’t done a true comission since 2013 with something that went south for Fiesta Equestria and I got screwed. :0 Now that journal that guy posted was old and most of that merch I have given away to the salvation army because while I can’t get into pony cons anymore and going on 2 years now, the merch just took up too much room and doing nothing in the basement for almost 2 years. :/ But as you said….personally IDK where some get the idea I do the comics for $$$ cause what do I have to gain when I still enjoy making art despite having ~300 followers these days.
Zak it isn’t worth trying to debate with the anon people here. They don’t listen to reasoning. They have some insane hate boner mostly here with me and continue the nonsense when the mods have specifically told people to take it to the forums or unfilter my art.

420 images, plus 16 from this account, and only 27 images relating to this joke. That’s 27 out of 436, possibly more than 436 if there’s stuff exclusive to his Deviantart, that makes it only about 6% of his images even being related to this joke. You call that overdoing it?

Well, forgive me. I don’t follow everything this guy does. But, I don’t know what he does for commissions. In other comics, he has said the same things that I have said: If you like it not it, hide his artist tag. So, in cases like this, the picture that we are complaining about, it seems to be not about money.

Chicken Scootaloo and Marshmellow Rarity are overdone.
Meanwhile, being responsible for 25 out of the 31 images in the global “spitfire’s hair is fire” tag is overdoing it.
Relying on the same joke for 6 years of your artistic career is overdoing it.
Thinking you’re going to sell $15k worth of merchandise for making the same joke is overdoing it.
Using whataboutism as an argument to defend someone else is overdoing it.
Like I said, this is the first time I’ve run into this joke. What could be old for some could be new, or still funny to others. I did look through that tag to see the other pics that make this joke. Just from looking at the tag alone, that’s only 27 images. That’s not even a fraction of what Chicken Scootaloo or Marshmellow Rarity has done. How is only 27 over-doing it?
Some people really like repetition. Not everyone, but I know people that like it that much.
Look through his stuff and you will see he uses the joke so much that it’s no wonder that people wonder how he still can think it could be funny

No. The opposite. The site owner has yelled at people over this, encouraging them to find something else to do.
Wait… Suggesting to use Filters is one of the violation of the rules?
Yes. They do this all of the time with Mighty-Muffins. I think in some cases it’s a rule #n violation.
