Probably because Pinkie wouldn’t look good with green. She looks better with blue since her eyes and cutie mark have blue in them. Rainbow Dash’s mane and tail have green in them.
True.
 
But Dashie’s mane and tail have every colour in them. Face it, she’s a trotting pride flag on her own. ;)

It’s a little lame they didn’t choose to actually go with “gaypride” and instead just did something that kinda seems like they did, but in a way where they can deny it. And those wings… Yeah this was a lame attempt. But hey, they’ve totally made up for it with that EQG special. That’s the second gayest thing I’ve probably seen all year. Nothing tops Steven Universe of course.
