Speaking of which, I think the Storm King and Tempest are like King Sombra in the film and a Cadance is like Amore in the film. Why? Because that scene in the film of when Tempest freezes Cadance into a statue is just like 1,000 years ago. But now it’s completely different. A different Crystal Princess and a different evil king.

I think those toys are of a character that’s similar to fizzlepop berrytwist but not necessarily actually Tempest.

Of course, the way the conquest was depicted in the movie, it seemed like it could have been so short that the rest of Equestria (outside Canterlot) never found out and therefore wouldn’t recognize the Storm King’s logo anyway. Who knows?
I’m assuming they just kept the historical name after annexing it.
Some toys has her cutie mark as a milkshake. Don’t know if that’ll be her official official cutie mark though.
