Firefly was the main character of the first generation My Little Pony. So iconic was her character that she directly inspired G4’s Rainbow Dash. Brash, bold, independent, and brave, Firefly helped along the continuing standard for female protagonists for cartoons. She is also notable for being the personal favorite of fyre-flye (creator of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) and the namesake of her Deviantart account.
