Alright so out of the ashes and weirdness of adjustments I finally am set to push out the next Mane 6 set of pics. These pics need a lot of reworking as I got back and clean up the other 5 of these like this AJ one. :D So you guys remember years ago during the super bowl they did that 2 second NFL commercial with the ponies in football gear? So I decided to take this a step further on and actually make this more to my specifications. I swear I could never do this level of stuff on the classic MLP style. It doesn’t look right. :P What I should have done is put my favorite NFL team, the Buffalo Bills, on AJ but I am more traditional in what they showed and it makes sense what Hasbro picked. Why not. :P
I personally love the idea of being on defense. AJ just feel like the type of pony just to being a physical beast as a defender like linebacker or something like that. Like get up in your face type of dirty work. Why the #3? IDK….I just went with #3 and more simple helmet design. I did mess around with smoother shading option on this and it really looks not too bad. I need to play with that some more

I do find it humorous looking over the comments under his new name that trying to run away from his problems didn’t really quite work out xD
Don’t make him a victim here. People weren’t prodding him for no reason.
He started receiving hate after he was caught tracing… twice and denied it despite obvious evidence. He was banned from pony cons for being a dick to other vendors (and for selling traced art).
Then he keeps ignoring constructive criticism. But it’s not simple ignoring. He has to respond in a condescending way. He does a lot to perpetuate the hostilities. He preferred to escape to a new account rather than apologize for tracing.
I keep checking out his stuff here out of morbid curiosity and some faint hope he would finally improve.
On Devianart, there is way more than enough artwork to drown his out if you like it not, and here, there is one button you need click to make it permanently go away. I see not their problem.
Toxic isn’t always polite but that’s understandable after years after being prodded. Heck, after the initial “friendly” criticism, these guys usually become more and more hostile because he refuses to do what they say.

No. I’m just mirroring what you said because it illustrates the point that your logic has not provided you, or anyone else, with a reason for you to continue doing what it is you are doing.
it’s not perfect, but the joints are in the right places at least.
You can put lenience on the style for the sake of animation, but there has to be a degree of realism, so that the viewer can relate to. There’s a certain technique to it that toxic doesn’t use.
Tox puts human muscles on quadruped horses, while drawing the front leg with the joints of a human arm.

Might-Muffins’ artstyle is that his ponies’ legs bend this way. No amount of “horse legs do not bend that way” alone will change that.
your current filter.A horse’s can not bend their legs to sit like that. And the episode (Apple Family Reunion) has a lot more impossible leg positions.
horse anatomy says a leg bends in a certain way. No amount of “this is my style” will change that.
I think one of these is the case:
Only someone that wants their work completely ruined will keep forcing the same mistakes to happen
Though it does sound more like a cheap and crappy excuse to not make a sligh effort to improve, which is what is likely happening

Totally. Every artist with an unpopular artstyle is just trolling people on a site where they can hide his specific artwork. That is the most reasonable explanation. Sarcasm feels weird.
Even if that were the case, since you all can hide it, it seems more irritating that you all are, seemingly deliberately, taking this bait in full.

If the majority criticizes the food, then I would change because the minority of customers just wouldn’t pay your bills. In case of Tox, the number of his followers is his “earnings”. There’s only a minority of people who don’t mind his style and a lot of people who ignore his art (or point out mistakes) due to the odd artstyle.
Here’s another analogy. People might like curry and onions in their chocolate ice cream. That doesn’t make it a recipe other cooks would get behind.
Here’s an analogy. If you are running a restaurant and some people constantly criticized your food and demand that you change it but you have some customers that love your food, should you change your food and risk alienating these customers or listen to those critics?
if you keep on making mistakes people are gonna point them out, especially if you continue on making the same ones.
Don’t expect different comments if you make the same mistakes all the times.
