ya so it was up for interpretation so to speak eh, also i think things like a replacement hip is quite necessary

Even in season one, most of the stuff she needed money for was not strictly necessary. Fixing up the barn would have been nice, but they would have gotten by without.

When? When has she used force to solve anything outside of the farm? What, is she policing the streets?
 
And I haven’t heard that her farm is in financial trouble since season one, and even then, it was just her life business needs money.
