I’ve always wanted to draw these two adorable little guys as sweet innocent kids. Here we are still wondering how they looked when they were fillies and colts. Anywho here are my designs for how they look which are pretty much the same as everyone else. In like a different storyline, Starswirl would take Celestia through the portal as a kid where she becomes friends with a young Mirror Sombra. I know I’m not going to get it but I would love to see screentime with these guys, they’re just so CUTE ^~ Here’s a short little dialogue for you guys as for the 11th for my 14 Days of Lurve~
 
Starswirl: “Now remember what I said Tia, don’t go off to far because this isn’t really our home.”
 
Celestia: “But it looks so much like it Starswirl.”
 
Starswirl: “I know it does. How about you go play by that tree why I handle work here, okay?”
 
Nods with a glowing smile. Walks over to the tree and sees a butterfly. She starts to chase it around the tree before she bumps into somepony
 
Celestia: “Oof!”
 
Sombra: “Are you okay?”
 
Celestia: “I’m fine.” Sombra helps her up “Sorry for running into you.”
 
Sombra: “It’s okay.”
 
Celestia: “What were you doing?”
 
Sombra: Come by me and watch.”
 
walks beside Sombra.
 
Sombra: points up “Look.”
 
Eyes shimmer at a baby squirrel
 
Celestia: “Aww it’s so cute!”
 
Sombra: “My name is Prince Sombra.”
 
Celestia: “You’re a Prince? That’s so cool because I’m a Princess! I’m Princess Celestia.”
 
Sombra: “Nice to meet you m’lady.”
 
Celestia: laughs to self “M’lady, you’re funny Sombra.”
 
two butterflies land on their noses as they start to giggle
 
Starswirl: “Tia! Celestia! We’re ready to go!”
 
Celestia: “Coming!”
 
Sombra: “Is that your daddy?”
 
Celestia: “Well sort of.” starts to bounce off “See you later Sombra. Wait we are friends right?”
 
Sombra: “Yeah! By Celestia.”
