Talisman is a regular in Ponyville despite living an hour away from town centre in the Everfree forest.  
He makes the trek daily however to barter with his clients.
 
Tali makes jewelry from sticks, jewels, bones and other things and sells them to a large number of locals and tourists. He’s very kind and he works with many people exchanging goods.  
He’s a hunter and only really cares about the bones. He exchanges the meat with a Diamond Dog named Sasha and in return gets a variety of gems and metals. He then gives most of those stones to Rarity who trades him some silks.  
In the end he heads to market in Ponyville to work on his unfinished wares and canoodles with buyers!
