Ah, coolies. I’m guessing we can only have two player in the Classic Edition though.
Oh well, nice to have the game. Haven’t played Secret of Mana in a loooong time. (Seeing as I didn’t own it. Borrowed it from my older sister’s BF back then.)
Yeah it did. I used an adapter to play the 3-player version with some friends a long time ago; I was the sprite.
I wouldn’t know; I didn’t download it. Didn’t have enough money and I was too absorbed into Seiken Densetsu 3 at the time.
But didn’t the original & Wii versions have 3 player? (Provided you had that extra controller accessory for the original SNES.)
No 3 player mode. It’s 2 player so both players can cycle through the three.
I hear you get something cool if you get all the General Pepper tokens in any difficulty mode.
@Dirty Bit
Doesn’t “Secret of Mana” actually have a 3-player mode?
“EarthBound” kinda has multiplayer too, as it’s actually completely playable with the second controller too.
In fact, I discovered if you have only one controller plugged into the second player slot of a SNES you can play games like Super Mario World or Super Mario All-Stars in one-player mode with the second controller.
This is hard to do on the SNES Classic, because you need a controller plugged into the first port to operate the main menu.
Both games I mentioned have co-op functions XD I syay you not.
They’re just rarely utilized

Considering that she seems to want to ‘chill’, I’m guessing a two-player game such as Contra III would be on the table.
I bet she’ll play FF6 and Secret of Mana
D’awwwww. I’d so play Toad’s Turnpike with her.
