Yeah, that's lame. Season 8 and the 9 premiere (I haven't watched past Frenemies) have treated Starlight pretty badly. 6&7 had her as at least a semi-important character who featured prominently in several episodes, whereas in season 8 and S09E01&2, she's relegated to the back seat with not much to do. It's like they lost interest in this character. something I *always* disliked about her is that the S5 finale made it look like Starlight was gonna be a 7th Mane 6; that's what everyone wondered, but the writers keep separating her off from them. Almost all of her episodes have her exclusively deal with Twilight, and how many episodes have we gotten of all the Mane 6 going off to do something without her? How many times have we heard Twilight tell her to stay behind and watch the school which Twilight&co. went off to adventure? The S8 finale actually _*really_* pissed me off. Literally all the good guys got to do something *_**except her._*** That's depressing. Even *the CMC* got to do something. *The CMC.* Shining Armor at least got to help drive out the changelings at the end of A Canterlot Wedding. Starlight doesn't even get to get revenge on Cozy Glow for such humiliation.
