Ok, first off “punishment” that was a joke and all three of them we okay with it. Next thing “unbecoming” Spike thought Rarity might like it and wanted to show it off I don’t see that as unbecoming, also the picture you use in the background is girls getting mustaches drawn on them(my point for this should be obvious). Lastly I don’t know why I cared so much about this to post such a serious comment, but whatever.

You completely miss it, mustache are alway depicted as awesome(for male characters of course) in cartoon show including mlp. In fact, cartoon show are probably the last line of defense for the mustaches.

Oh you mean like that ONE TIME?  
Spike, Snips, and Snails all enjoyed their brief moments with mustaches. There was that griffon chef too…  
It’s only become an embarrassing moment when the women get a mustache and I should think the reasons why that is treated as negative should be obvious.

But a mustache is still tricky. They’re harder to groom to perfection than a beard. A beard’s easy.

Naw, some people can rock a mustache. Most people can’t. I know I wouldn’t be able to pull it off id I didn’t have a beard to go with it.
