Seriously, what did Nightmare Moon do bad? How long did she keep the Moon out and prevent the day? I get that she was going for forever, but how long was it actually night? Did she take over part of the kingdom and rule cruelly? Did Celestia try and talk her out of it or just hop straight to the elements? Did she try different applications for the elements? Did the night kill off any crops or mess with tides? Was there magic in place to counteract the tides/crops if they even affected them? Would they have affected them had the night lasted longer, but it never got to that point? Nightmare Moon was born from Luna’s feelings, and they’re seperate entities but did something possess Luna? Was Nightmare Moon part of something outside of Luna too, would she have manifested in another creature or become her own thing? What happened to Nightmare after she was seperated from Luna? What did Luna do on the Moon for a thousand years? Did/could she converse with Nightmare Moon? Did time pass normally? Was what Luna looked like after reformation representative of what she looked like when she turned, and if so did she age rapidly upon return to make up for lost time on the Moon? Did she get reverse aged after reformation and just turned back to normal? Did she age while on the Moon, or is she the same as when she was banished? How old were she and Celestia when she was banished? How far along in their lives were they(teen, young adult, adult, child, etc.)? How does the population as a whole view Luna? How did they view her while she was gone? Did most ponies even know the tale, or did they not even know Luna and Nightmare Moon were seperate beings? Does anyone have canon answers for these? I’ve wondered about these questions for a while and would really like to know.

Also, what was her relatiionship with Celestia like? Did the ponies have no night life, or did Luna just not see it or not feel satisfied with how small it was compared to their day-lives? Did they actively dislike her night or her?
