^ Well, a lot of it I think, is that dragons tend to be depicted, even in the show itself, as having wings. There are, of course, wingless dragons in mythology but traditional western dragons tend to add flight to the list of reasons they’re terrifying.

^ Magic? Weird draconic biological quirk? I mean its not unheard of for creatures to grow new appendages over the course of their lives, tadpoles being the best example.

Any way, wingless or not, its all good.
