Which is why I would be fine with Scootaloo flying with the help of some sort of artificial assistance. Her just gaining the natural to ability to fly--be it from a magic spell or otherwise--goes beyond the act of suppressing.


 
Perhaps one day we will be able to grow back entire limbs. But that's still a quite a long ways off.
