Id prefer a happy ending once they sort their issues out. In reality, Jack pot regrets leavig his family to pursue his dream of being a famous and respected magician, espccially now that he’s middle aged and his dream has fizzled out. He’s not a horrible person, just a flawed one. Just like his daughter.
Trixie thought he wouldn’t care about her unless she became famous but he’s been thinking about her a long time and has been to ashamed and embarrased to find her. In his mind, She probably wouldn’t want anything to do with him because he’s a loser. Oh the irony.
This is what I want to see by the end of their reunion episode.
 
I would love to see this episode.

As compelling The Great And Abandoned Trixie is it seems a lot more likely that she wanted to be a performer and a magic student to live up to her dad being a famous act in Las Pegasus.

What happen if the story line is just like Coco, her father left his family to continue his careers, after month he leaves his family he got home sick trying to get back but Big buck prevented him because his the only one know how to do the escape and know more magic than him. Big bucks hypnotized him to forget everything about his family and stay with him for the rest of his life.
