I’d like to think I’m over reacting, but after the big staff change up mid-way through Season 5 and into Season 6, I can’t help get the feeling the newer writers keep trying to “fix” Fluttershy, and to them that translates to make her not shy or timid anymore. Or in this case, make her aggressive and belligerent.

Are the writers REALLY making her infamous than she did in Season 2? Seriously? It’s like they hate her for the sake of this episode…..which is retarded.

This scene was really felt unneeded.

She’s the element of KINDNESS! K-I-N-D-N-E-S-S! I know she shouldn’t have cling on that element all the time so the story won’t be boring. But turning Fluttershy into a bitch is gonna bring more haters like Putting Your Hoof Down did.

someone needs to tell the script writer(s) of MLP FIM that being assertive =/= being rude and vicious to other people.

Yeah, her randomly going Flutterbitch at the end was weird. It just didn’t fit, since the episode centered on the fact that her terrible behavior was driving customers away and was one of the reasons Rarity returned. The whole point of the episode is that Fluttershy was supposed to learn not to act like her rude personas and just be herself, but at the end she acts like her rude character and everyone is okay with it for some reason… wtf?

Did the episode really need to end with Fluttershy telling somepony off?
 
I think assertive Fluttershy needs to work on standing up for herself and others without shouting at the top of her lungs.
