You don’t need to use real names and make direct statements to tip toe around issues which are political.Remember I said “Season Opening” not the opening of this episode.

School Daze was highly politically motivated, influence by and directly comparing to, American Politics. Let’s get this off the table right now, the argument of “But DHX is a Canadian Company”. Well Hasbro is Headquartered in Providence, RI with Headquarters of Distribution in San Fransisco, CA. Oh their animation team is also Top Draw Studios which is in the Philippines and all the writers for DHX are freelance which work remotely throughout Canada and the USA, Including MA Larson who lives in California. So now that is off the table, there is no reason that any of the writers wouldn’t put modern references, including political ones, into the show.

How was School Daze political was due to the strong left message of open boarders, immigration, and culture diversity while shamelessly making any nationalist dehumantize (or horse) and pure evil, “Oh so raciest”. Instead of compromise and reasoning in this episode as they had in the past with every friendship lesson ever, it was a giant middle finger as in “**** you, I do what I want.”

And if you bring up the whole argument of “She is Royalty” well so was Marie Antoinette, but that didn’t end so favorably did it? And “It’s a cartoon, cartoon logic” That is nothing more than the fallacy of “Because this, Than that.” It doesn’t excuse poor writing nor excuse political message being infused into the show.

Now if you wish to continue this as a productive conversation, I would love to. But as I have debated you many times over, I doubt that would even come from this.

So would I, however I think that they intentionally avoided saying that, even though it is a common term when firing unwarranted employees, due to mainly “Political” reasons. Seeing how the season opening was “Political” you know where the show is heading.

Mr. Horrible

Not gonna lie - The fact that Rarity had to individually fire each of those different personas to snap Fluttershy out of it was one of the best jokes this show’s had in a while.
