Technically, I’m pretty sure his relationship with Maud isn’t to that level yet. They both seem too classy to go there right away.
 
We don’t know how long the two have dated.  
Also the fact that Maud was not home, when Pinkie came by her place, first thing in the morning, could hint at Maud not coming back home, after her date the night before.
