This pic was a bit of a slog to finish. I started it weeks ago planning on a simple little pic but then it grew to this and I got to where I didn’t want to work on it any more and while I do have issues with it I want to be done with this pic.  
Now on to the pic, originally I just wanted to have Paprika popping out of nowhere and spooking Pom, but I couldn’t figure out how to bring it all together in a single image, so I decided to make it into a short comic (and things spiraled from there). I had to modify my usual ninja design for Paprika to fit her design but I think it worked out, and I also kind of decided to go with the more realistic color scheme for Pom whenever I draw her as a ninja from my last pic (fav.me/dc5ah39) because it gives a nice contrast from her color scheme, though it does blend a little into this background (though that does seem a little fitting). I also decided to throw in Oleander because why the hack not.
