Now this is an old one.

I had originally drawn the sketch lines for this back in 2014 along with the rest of the mane 6, with looks inspired from Unico, one of Osamu Tezuka ’s series. I pulled all six of them back out and just messed with some things in Clip Studio Paint with no real clear idea on what I wanted to do. I just tested a lot of things, mainly the Copic-style brush, as an attempt to try to mimic the Copic marker style digitally.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh, it’s just not the same as working with physical copics. You can still tell it’s just high gloss digital work and doesn’t have that really soft textured look that only comes from working with markers and paper.
