Unless Scootaloo gets to them first in which case Pinkie has to re-steal- recover, yeah that’s sound better, from the Rainbow Dash Temple in Cloudsdale at her parents house in her old room. That stuff he’s got is actually protection, Tempest isn’t an idiot. Why would she give him protection that doesn’t work, eh?
 
Personally, I think extreme reactions are in character for Fizzlepop. She did become a super villain, basically, after all.

Opinion? She did lose her horn by walking away from school and into a really dark place where she bumped into an Ursa Minor. And no offense, but only an idiot would think that a plastic helmet, oven mitts and elbow pads would protect anyone against a beast like that. Tempest is not an idiot. Unless this is all some kind of bad joke?  
Don’t get the wrong idea here now; I like your art, really do. It’s just that you seem to be more than willing to slightly butcher ponies sometimes in order to make your ideas for your satyrs work.

“It makes no sense for Tempest to be this much overprotective” is what. In case you forgot, she lost her horn because she ran away from the school playground and into some dark place and met a friggin’ Ursa Minor, not by stumbling face first in a sandbox. Oven mitts and elbow pads aren’t gonna protect you from a beast like that.  
It’d make more sense for her to follow her son around or keep a close eye on him to make sure he doesn’t go somewhere he’s not supposed to go so he doesn’t meet a huge monster like she did.
