Most of us including me really want to see her wearing a Royal guard armour for the upcoming seasons, and maybe tempest will appear in background in Canterlot.

Nearly everyone who wanted her to stick around after the movie came to the same conclusion. Sometimes it’s “Tempest becomes Twilight’s first official guard”, sometimes she joins Celestia’s or Luna’s guards. Either way, it’s popular fanon for her.

I’m not sure what’s more surprising.
 
The fact that seeing her in a braided ponytail isn’t as bad as I thought it would be,  
or the fact there’s a “tempest becomes a royal guard” tag.
