Background:  
One year during the Grand Galloping Gala, Pinkie Pie had attended without her newly-wedded Cheese Sandwich. He was sick, but still ushered her to go without him. Pinkie Pie did, not very cheerfully though. While at the Gala however, she meets this intriguing night guard, Moonstone, whom she dances the night away with, and comes home early the next morning. A week or two after, Pinkie Pie finds out she’s with child, and she doesn’t know if it’s either Cheese’s or that mysterious Moonstone. Either way, she can’t let Cheese know.
 
She had spent a few months back in canterlot, Cheese staying at home to keep their business running, while she was visiting doctors. The doctor visits didn’t take near as long as Pinkie planned though, She saved a few months to spend with Moonstone, he was very in love with her, wanting her to go through with the child thing, wanting them to get married and live together, growing old with their child. But she had to return home, still not sure where to go.
 
When she finally gives birth, both her and Cheese are astounded at how much darker their foal’s coat is compared to their own, and Pinkie Pie defends saying “I do have relatives with coats this color, maybe that’s what it is!” and to her surprise, Cheese agrees.  
A year later, with little Teddy being babysat by Mr and Mrs Cake, Pinkie and Cheese proudly go to the Grand Galloping Gala. During the Gala, Pinkie loses Cheese for a minute and ends up running into the same night guard, who whispers sweet nothings in her ear, along with directions to a room to meet in. So Pinkie finds Cheese and excuses herself to the “Restroom.” After maybe 5 or so minutes, Cheese starts to get worried and goes looking for his dear wife. And to his surprise, and her stupidity, Cheese walked straight into a nose-nuzzling session between Pinkie and the guard, and he sprints out of the castle enraged.  
When Pinkie Pie came home, she read a note left by her husband..  
“Dear Pinkie Pie, you were a great friend and an amazing lover, and I truly loved our time together. It has come to me that on your end, things could’ve been better, and that’s why you strayed. I even had DNA tests done on our son by your friend, Twilight. He isn’t my kid. So I’m sure you won’t have any trouble taking care of him with your boyfriend. Don’t ever speak to me again, we are no longer married. Tell your guard boyfriend I said that I sincerely hope he–”  
The rest was smudged with the ink. Pinkie didn’t care. After a week, Pinkie Pie moved into a familiar mare’s house. The mare being Moonstone’s mother, and she was very welcoming of Pinkie Pie and little Teddy, saying that soon her son might return and Pinkie could live happily with the child’s real father.
 
Pinkie Pie had other ideas though. One night, while Bear was happily sleeping with his grandmare, Pinkie Pie had slipped out, with no sign of where she was going or if she was coming back. To bear, this was heartbreaking. Both his momma and daddy left and he was still a tiny colt.
 
Moonstone visited his mother frequently though, and found his little baby, so he raised Bear, who was still heartbroken and to this day refuses to call Moonstone his dad, though Moonstone was.
 
 
Other:  
~ He was put into guard training against his will, but he stuck with it for some reason.  
~ He believes that his half-sister, Honey Sickle stole his mom away from him and he wants to embarrass her and make her feel all the pain he had felt all those years.
