In Equestria, first you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the cute stallions :P
What would be the better instant seduction button?
It was really cute watching them interact. The only thing the cat could do that would make the bunny mad, was the cat would try to lay on top of the rabbit to sleep. The rabbit would wriggle free, stomp his feet, and throw a tantrum and the cat would just be confused XD
They’re both winners: the cat got to mark the bunny as personal property and the rabbit asserted his dominance in the relationship by getting groomed.
Edited because: spelling
Oh yeah. They’re both social animals, and cats are opportunistic predators. As long as the bunny can tolerate or resist the cat’s attempts to play, they’ll get on just fine. Our cat was an absolute marshmallow though, like the nicest little creature ever, but she was also quite a bit larger than the rabbit (and actually really big for a cat, period), so neither really tried to be the dominant one. The most you’d see, is the cat would rub her cheek on the top of the rabbit’s head, and he’d flatten his head down and do that little tooth churning thing that was like the bunny version of purring XD
It’s always funny seeing the pearl-clutching comments about “Aren’t cats predators?!?!?!???” on photos of bunnies cuddling with cats. As long as the rabbit is an adult, the bunny will be the boss of that relationship, even when the cat is larger.
The one we had would stomp his feet and throw little tantrums when the dog left a toy near “his spot”. He actually liked the dog and cat on a normal day, and would even cuddle up beside them sometimes, but he just had an extreme bug up his little bunny ass about them leaving stuff in his spot XD

Angel Bunny basically IS that rabbit XD
Monty Python killer rabbit scene, featuring Angel Bunny doing his own stuntwork.
Bunnies are cute until they yawn. Then they look like they’re turning into The Thing XD
bloodcherry-stained bunny mouths. Love to see it.None of mine liked bananas, but they were all over grapes. Cherries, too. We had a cherry tree and they really liked them. It was neat watching them eat half, then flip it over and eat the rest to get around the pit XD
Nanners and the grape are the forbidden bunny treats, as they love those so much they become addicts.

A high-strung prey animal that will bite, kick, stomp, or trample if you fail the vibe check? So, Twilight Sparkle basically XD
Oh yeah. We had bunnies when I was a kid. The foods they liked more than anything else were apples, parsley, and clover. He’d pick at a carrot, but wasn’t too interested in it :P

My headcanon is that they like sweets, but they love vinegar more than anything else and, like fruit flies, that’s actually the best way to catch them. Like, you have “Twilight” over for a date and she pours herself a glass of vinegar: Twilight being Twilight and thinking the vinegar is some nice vino, or a buggo in disguise? :P
Insects love sugar, so I imagine doubly so.
Asking the real questions.
so much for using sugar for changeling detection

I highly recommend everypony in this thread look up videos of bunnies munching on carrot tops. It’s like industrial machinery ingesting a downed tree branch into mulch but cuter.
Now I want to see some neurotic and punchy zebras.
Fun fact about on-screen horse racism: the scene in Bridle Gossip where the M6 first see Zecora and are spooked by her is a prime example of a common IRL horse-zebra miscommunication. Zebras instinctively scratch at the dirt to check for moisture and help locate watering holes. To a horse, scratching the ground is a sign of imminent aggression.
Fun carrot fact: rabbits strongly prefer the green tops to the orange parts. They enjoy the root, but go straight for the leaves when given the option.
Even bigger asses than a donkey?
@Badumsquish
IRL zebras are high-strung prey animals, and if you do anything they don’t like (or if you simply fail the vibe check), you will likely be bitten, kicked, stomped on, trampled over or some combination of the above.

Also carrots. Good for ponies, good for donkeys, good for zebras, good for the kids :D
Zeebs are good poners though :D
I imagine anything sweet, they’d like. I remember, as kids, we used to mess with the night watchman at the dump. There was a proximity motion detector and we’d go and sprinkle salt on the grass so the deer would hang around it, constantly triggering it, to eat the grass XD
