That’s true, mostly because she has very little alone scenes. And that’s the kind of scene I’m looking for.

I wasn’t expecting a pony actually being killed.
Just saw part 1 of the Season 8 opener, and it opens soon after the movie (with spoilers, be warned). Ergo, the most recent Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Octavia, and Vinyl interviews post-date all or part of that, especially the Octavia interview, which kills off Dainty (named in Derpy round 5 and mentioned again in Starlight round 2) during the events of the movie and implies a considerable amount of time since then.
