I was under the assumption that Reys father was a failed Palpatine clone, kinda like Boba Fett is a clone/son of Jango Fett. But, yeah, I’m sure there is some raunchy Palpatine porn out there. Tempted to look it up, but my eyes might go burn out of my skull from the horror of it.

I wonder, was anyone else skeeved out by the revelation in this movie that Rey was Palpatine’s grandchild? If only because it means Palps, that rotting decrepit monstrosity we saw in the earlier movies, was shagging women on a regular basis. Man I hope nobody wrote fanfics about Palpatine’s sex life!

Interesting image. Considering the theory that suggests Snoke is actually Palpatine’s former master, Darth Plagus the Wise. The theory suggests that, after being struck down by Palpatine, Plagus went into hiding under the alias “Snoke”. If this theory, and the reasoning of how it is possible, is true… Snoke might appear in Episode 9.
