Sugar Skull bursted through the door in avast excitement, jumping from her carpet floor before crashing down onto the couch below in a gasp of circumstance. Her tiny, fragile guardian demon, Brimstone Blaze, stepped up from the kitchen with a happy smile and a cooking apron around his neck, signifying he was making quite a mess to be expected already.
“Ohhh, what is it mistress Sugar Skull!? Did you enjoy the concert!? How was the performance!? Did Typhoon give you an autograph!? He questioned her excitedly.
She took a moment to herself, dazed, before picking herself back up. “Even more than that… just the preformance alone was amazing! I am so glad Misty had invited me to see Ebony Road tonight! It was an absolute dream!” She lay down on the couch with her legs up to the ceiling, still clumsy but in the mood to jump around… Brimstone looked at her face from the top of the sofa.
“Ahh! I take it you had an amazing time! How splendid!”
Skull aired the hair away from her face as she looked up at him… “It was very splendid.” A sound began in her voice… a sound of uncertainty.
“Huh? Whats the matter my mistress!?” He gasped as he fidgeted with his hooves, looking greatly concerned as Skully picked herself up from the couch.
”… I always had a dream for dark magic, but one of my biggest dreams along with it… was singing.” She took a breath in…
Every day it has always been, what it cannot be more… a lonely mare making her way to a town like this, living a life of cold and poor…
Much like the rest of the ponies staying here, I give a glance outside. All of those who stay before me, their happy laughs giggle in my ear.
I dream of one day taking the world with the sound of my songs, if that could even be a choice, but there’s no way I could make my move if I don’t bring out my voice…~!
She grabbed onto the lonely skull that lay atop of her dark magic alter, and continued her tune, spinning around the livingroom of her home, and holding it against her face. Her dreams speaking to her through her words, she daydreamed her hooves on the stage of a crowd of countless ponies, as their cheers and yells echoed to her preformance on stage, as if it were ever to make its way to reality… After she spoke her last musical lyric, she stopped and set her hooves down, noticing that there were quite a few of her decorations on the ground. She gasped in confusion.
“Uuhhh Mistress, heh heh! It appears you’ve gone too carried away there!”
Sugar Skull looked down at the broken lamp along her hooves. “Uh, Heh… I can fix that.”
