I might check it out on Crunchyroll or Adult Swim if either of them play it.

I’ve heard about the fanservice too. What I liked about what I’ve seen and heard about it is both genders get their fair share of it.
And you’re right. It was the same studio that did Gurren Lagann. Studio Trigger I think they’re called. They’ve made a lot of good and well animated anime under their belts.

Well animated, The soundtrack is REALLY good, lots of fanservice(Seriously… there are parts where entire troves are naked, but… USUALLY for comedic or actual plot reasons), and has that ‘Determinator’ kind of feel to it. Same ones who did Gurren Lagann if I remember right.
Oh. That’s a rather interesting name. Whenever I hear “(Number) Star” and Goku together, my mind goes straight to Dragon Ball.

I’ve heard of Kill La Kill but I never got around to watching it. From what I’ve seen of it, it does look really well animated.
