I really have no good title to put for this since it’s pretty much just a buncha alternate designs I have for future installments :‘D So, well I just slap that on but really, it’s just a different outfit for Aki with minor physical changes. Sapphire is the one having the actual alternate form here hahaha…Yes, Aki has a digitigrade stance here along with a tail.

So, the idea behind this one came from just me wanting to make different outfits for Aki. But as usual, that immediately derails as I started drawing more as per usual of my imagination running away from me :‘D So in comes Sapphire blazing in with her new form and I am proud to show you her debut. I’ve been working on it on and off for a few months now and am finally happy with how it turned out. Them colours were a challenge to wrangle without it looking terrible. You can still tell it’s her but ‘upgraded’. It’s not a permanent fixture though and I’ll be showing you guys how she gets it in a future comic.

As for Aki, truth be told, he never actually wears the coat properly and leaves it hanging at the waist. Why have the coat in the first place then? Well, when Aki first shifted into this ‘form’, the original idea was that the sleeves would hide the gauntlets and he’ll just take the coat off whenever he needed to fight. Aki immediately realised that was stupid cause if a fight was to break out, ain’t nobody got time to take coats off and it somewhat restricts his movement anyway. Then he just kinda forgets it was there and just left it xD It doesn’t bother him so….+5 aesthetic? Aki would shift into this ‘form’ only if he’s ever forced into very close combat as the gauntlets double as both a weapon and helps shield him from attacks. Also, don’t worry(?) about the missing limb, he’ll just weave himself back together again after the battle. But then, Aki is the kinda being where they can only sustain such severe damage if their mental strength collapsed soooooooooo…//cliffhanger
