Yes, cucumbers are also fruit. So are beans, nuts, corn, sunflower seeds, peas, pumpkins, squash and zucchini. What team blueplant said is correct: the part of a plant which contains mature seeds is scientifically considered to be a fruit. Fruit are themselves the plant’s ovaries.
