After the events of the movie, Tempest did stay in Equestria, and actually ended up staying in Twilight’s Castle. Only a few months after did the suggestion that Tempest should become Twilight’s first Royal Guard, which she accepted. This meant Tempest joined Twilight on a lot of events and visits, and brought them closer together. Tempest developed feelings for the Alicorn, but couldn’t bring herself to say anything. It wasn’t until Spike figured out what was going on with her that he decided to set them up, with a little help from Pinkie of course. The two had set them up on a surprise date at Sugar Cube Corner. A while into the date (Which was disguised as a simple meet up) Pinkie sneaked behind Tempest and shoved her into Twilight. Instead of falling flat on her, the two mares accidentally kissed, which lasted a little longer than they had expected. From then on, they both started dating, then Tempest proposed to Twilight only a year later. They got married and two years later, had their only child, Andromeda Galaxy. As far as they know, Andromeda was the first pony to be reproduced by two mares, with the help of magic. They didn’t realize how much magic both of them combined had, which resulted in their daughter being an Alicorn.
