wow, if i´d had to make a physics exam to proof whom of us is better in that subject i´d totally lose. onyl thing i never understood was how to tell what isotobe Uran and stuff decays too. hmmm, i might do a backstory. could be worth it. i mean it´s already an honour that you like of of my oc´s

Depends on the material. Things like Oxygen-22 have a half-life of a little over 2 seconds, while Caeseum-124 has a half life of a little over 2 years. Hydrogen-7 has a half life of 23 * 10^-24^ seconds (0.000000000000000000000023 seconds) and Tellurium-128’s half life is 2.2 * 10²⁴. That’s about 160,000,000,000,000 times the age of the universe :D
 
So she could be a material or a mix of materials that have very brief half-lives and take 11 months to become stable (so it’s like she’s being born), or magic is being used to speed the process up. The material breaking down into a sentient green little cutie could even be an unexpected, albeit welcome, result of the spell or process used to make it happen :D

well i heared that there is a methode to use other safe isotopes and elements to speed up the decay into safe elements. but well i guess there is mostly no use of that due to radioactive ionisatzion haveing too many isotopes decaying at a time.

do you realise that equstria must be over and eead by now, it takes Millions, maybe even Billions of years for a Radioactive Element to decay into a “Stable” Element. “Stable” in quo. marks because every element has a half-life and therefore decays.

Does she have radioactive waste related backstory? Like, after radioactive decay left the waste broken down completely into non-radioactive material what was left was a sentient goo pony so they let her out of the barrel? Like, is this what ultimately happens to radioactive waste in Equestria? I HAVE TO KNOW XD

well in my German COuntry, Lower Saxony is a mine where radioactive waste is stored. but there is water inflow in that mine area that caused the waste barrels to corrode so the radioactive waste is able to leak.

must’ve been in a horrible place, usually Nuclear waste barrels are in salt mines, so there is no way for water to get in.

fun fact, RL Nuclear waste is still metalic silver and solid like Uranium itself, and also sealed away inside the barrels. you would need a sledgehammer to get that shit out again, as it was never intended to be opened again.
