She’s clearly just playing mind games with Rarity. Dirty mind games, at that. Notice how Rarity’s calm demeanor turns to one of panic in the next shot. That motion of Trixie’s left hand clearly caught her off-guard and surprised her.

Making a cat hand motion, often done with a ‘meow’ or ‘rawr’, is often used to convey flirting. Its been in modern media for many decades, and falls under a large, LARGE umbrella of cat tropes related to female sexuality, among which the term ‘Cat Fight’ was popularized as a term for two girls fighting.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Star Wars, its just an extremely well known trope. 90% of the original flirty 60s Catwoman is based on this trope.

I don’t understand what about this scene is sexy, to me it looks like Trixie is trying to force-choke her (Although that could be because I just rewatched Star Wars)

I honestly don’t know to what degree.

The other scenes were obviously intended for ‘out of context’ humor, but this scene specifically can only be interpreted so many ways.

Trixie:(“If you want to play, lets amp it up with some flirting.) Gives flirty cat motion
Rarity:(“Wha-?)
Trixie:(eyes widens “Wait…A little too forward. Lets go with aloof instead” *settles into an aloof sitting position)
