This is the time of the Winter Solstice. 99% of all cultures have or had some kind of celebration for it. I was a close-minded jackoff Christian for YEARS about “Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays”. I eventually grew-up, because holy shit, it’s one of the dumbest arguments in all existence. For Christians, this time of year is called Christmas. Nothing wrong with that, at all. However, non-Christians generally just say “Happy Holidays”, because it references the multiple holy days that occur during the Solstice.

People can call this time of year whatever they want. Grow up.
