Even though it’s been established by Blackblood-Queen and TheEcchiQueen that the Night Guard is more intense in their training then the Day Guard, I feel like even individuals from either section of the Royal can be more or less intense…. Bubble and Rosie’s rivalry is just one of those things. While Rosie Quartz is kind of a snobbish prep, she isn’t afraid to get her hooves dirty and break a few noses on occasion. Much to her surprise, this short, hot headed unicorn is able to dish it right back! They are pretty well matched during the first few years of training together.
 
Headcanon: Someone I watch on tumblr had the head canon that Cloudy Quartz (Maud and Pinkie Pie’s mom) was once a general in Celestia’s army. I love this idea, and feel like this is why Rosie Quartz, who was named after her grandmother, joined the guard for this very reason.
