I don’t know the exact numbers, but IDW says they’re doing well. I suppose that doesn’t mean “great,” but apparently they’re doing well enough to do the main series, and those “movie” & “Legends of Magic” side comics. If it sold terribly, they would just scrap the whole series, rather then keep it going.
Though, honestly I haven’t kept up with the series as the stories, art, and such haven’t really interested me lately.
Im gonna need citation on that. Last I check, they were barely doing better than certain Marvel comics.
That makes no sense. But I kinda get what you mean, as the comic industry isn’t quite as popular, as movies, TV, or video games.
Oh I know they sell, but “popular” is… an awkward term in the comic industry. A lot of “comics” sell enough to be “popular” but don’t sell well enough to be “popular”.
You’d be surprised, they actually do sell despite older bronies being mixed on the MLP comics.
Meta content is so weird.
