I like to think that he got magically locked up right before Luna went Nightmare Moon and has now been freed (by the CMC, most likely). So he’s got a millennium-long naughty list to work through.
Yeah. The chronology is a bit complicated. Based on the amount of festive episodes it is possible to infer the story has taken place during a 2-3 year period.

I always thought Santa WAS equal opportunity. And ‘Santa Reindeer’ does sound like a great idea.
Same here to be quite honest. An equal opportunity Krampus is a pretty neat idea.
Hopefully there’d be an equal opportunity Santa for good kids and adults too (I’m assuming an MLP Santa or Santa equivalent would be a reindeer).

Not in the legends I remember, but that’s on Earth and not in Equestria. Besides I just like the idea of a Krampus who ‘punishes’ adults as well as kids.
Does Krampus go after adults?
